Biography:
My interest in physical therapy was sparked by my cousin’s twenty-one year battle with Duchenne’s muscular dystrophy. He was frequently accompanied by a physical therapist for assistance with transferring, equipment management, stretching, and pain control. The physical therapist cared deeply for my cousin and did everything in her power to make his life comfortable. The special relationship they formed was not only inspiring then, but currently inspires me to create similar bonds with my patients.
I attended Oakland University where I received my doctorate degree in physical therapy. My current interest is in Orthopedic Manual Therapy, and I will receive a post-graduate certification in this area of specialization in May of 2010.
My passion for physical therapy grows every day and I am dedicated to helping people live the best quality of life possible. I am honored to be a part of the HealthQuest team, where I can achieve that goal. |
