Biography:
After graduating from Albion College with a degree in psychology, I worked as a counselor for children at Havenwyck Psychiatric Hospital. My career interests began to change as my job at Havenwyck became more taxing, and I decided to investigate other professions at this time. After much exploration, I determined that physical therapy was an appropriate fit, based on my desire to work as a health care professional and my interest in improving the lives of others.
I chose Wayne State University based on their reputation, well rounded curriculum, and urban setting. As a student at Wayne, I was able to participate in an internship at the Functional Performance Center in Phoenix, Arizona and my passion for orthopedics and sports medicine grew.
Practicing a healthy lifestyle has always been important to me, and I enjoy helping my patients adopt better habits and gain body awareness as they achieve their therapeutic goals. I have been employed by HealthQuest Physical Therapy since 2007, and could not be more satisfied. I enjoy what I do every day and look forward to providing quality care to the patients I have the privilege of treating.
