Biography:
I grew up in the small town of Flushing MI, but always had an interest in Physical Therapy. At 16, I sustained an injury to my neck and shoulder. After much personal experience with Physical Therapy, I was intrigued about the profession and the therapist’s ability to empathize but also keep people motivated through an often rough recovery process. This led me to CMU for my bachelor’s degree and then to GVSU for my doctorate degree. As I continued to strive to become more efficient with my treatments, I was compelled to enter a two year residency based certification process at Oakland University that emphasizes manual and manipulative interventions for orthopedic injuries. It is a very rewarding field and I have been fortunate to work with many people from the Oakland, Macomb, and surrounding counties, helping them return to their preferred level of function.
