Biography:

I worked at Dow Chemical Company as a co-op in high school. One of the other co-ops had information on physical therapy as a career. That was a defining moment ~ I began looking into physical therapy and never looked back.

I met my wife at OU, from where we both graduated in 1990 with degrees in physical therapy. We have been fortunate to have worked and visited all over the United States as traveling physical therapists with CompHealth, a physical therapy temporary staffing agency. We have met many amazing and inspirational people, some of whom we are still friends today.

We settled in Michigan, near our family, and now have three children. In 1999, the opportunity for ownership in a new Rochester Hills clinic became available. That clinic was HealthQuest. I went back to OU in 2000 and graduated in 2002 from the program in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (OMPT). In 2002, another opportunity came with the opening of the HealthQuest clinic in Clinton Township.

This has developed into much more in my life than I ever could have imagined. HealthQuest has been blessed with growth and today, I consider all eight HealthQuest locations my “home,” as I provide coverage during time off for the most dedicated and hardworking physical therapists around. I hear from so many patients about what a difference HealthQuest has made in their lives. I have seen a lot of physical therapy settings in my career, and it is an absolute truth that HealthQuest has therapists who understand the tremendous privilege and responsibility given to us in the care of our patients. At HealthQuest I am part of a community of physical therapists who work to change peoples lives for the better. In the process, I am continually enriched and remain dedicated in my life to be better at what I do.
