At FitnessQuest and HealthQuest Physical Therapy & Medical Fitness, we offer a variety of basic and specialty fitness classes for everyone. Our certified instructors emphasize proper technique so you get the most out of each class. Regardless of your physical abilities or age, we have a class for you!

Class List:

Bell, Ropes, and Whistles  – Jump ropes, kettlebells, dumbbells and heavy ropes workouts can be a great training alternative to cardio machines. You’ll be surprised at how fast a kettlebell and heavy rope workout can bring you up to your maximum heart rate. Our guided techniques will help you increase your metabolism and get you burning fat and toning muscle right away.

Boot Camp Gold  – An introduction to interval training. Includes TRX, suspension, Tabata-style and Kettlebell.  All levels challenged.

Core  – Improve your body’s overall functional strength, balance and coordination. This class focuses on strength, movement and balance challenges through the use of the body’s core muscles found in the inner and outer abdominal wall, lower back and hips.

Core Barre  – Combines elements of Pilates and ballet to strengthen core, condition, lengthen and increase joint flexibility.

CrossFit– progressively trains your body to be ready for anything through constantly varied, high-intensity functional movements to burn more calories and build more strength in shorter periods of time. No gimmicks. No fancy equipment. Just you – improved.

Flexibility – Flexibility is an important part of any fitness routine that is often overlooked. Take time to stretch from head to toe. Learn the proper techniques to stretch efficiently and effectively using static and dynamic techniques. Foam rollers and stretch bands are used in this class.

FMS (Functional Movement Screen) – Determines overall strength and weakness for proper body mechanics.  Only offered by appointment only.

Gentle Yoga –  Basic yoga poses, simple relaxation and meditation techniques to strengthen core and improve balance.

H.I.I.T.  – Super charge your fitness and fat loss! This High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) class will make you faster, make you stronger, increase your endurance and improve your overall fitness. The class combines easy-to-follow old fashioned P.E. and body weight exercises that will challenge all levels of fitness!

KidFit (grades K-5) and BigKidFit (grades 6-8) – A unique group training program designed for kids to learn, explore, and excel at fitness!  Kids will expand their knowledge and hands on activity in exercise through FUN, functional, scalable, athletic movements, advanced when appropriate to strengthening, physical conditioning, and youth sports training movements.  Have FUN and get fit with KidFit and BigKidFit!

MELT Hand and Foot –Self-treatment technique that reduces pain, improves performance and helps you stay healthy for a lifetime.

Muscle Madness – Challenge yourself beyond traditional strength training with this total body functional strength training class. Challenge your muscular endurance, balance and coordination by moving through all planes of motion with multi-joint and compound exercises.

Pilates  – Engage the mind and condition the body to gain better posture and increase body awareness.

SilverSneakers – These classes are designed especially for older adults and are taught by certified instructors trained to be sensitive to your needs.  You’ll find the classes beneficial, regardless of your fitness level or health condition and we’ll enjoy the camaraderie of fellow members!

Tabata – A quick, full body interval training class, always using different exercises, but at a specific interval of 20 seconds at a time for several rounds.  You can do anything for 20 seconds at a time!

TRX Circuit  – Suspension training with the TRX uses gravity and the user’s body weight to enable many exercises that can be instantly scaled for any user to reach any fitness or training goal; a great total body workout that uses TRX equipment and other functional training equipment.

TRX Fusion  – Suspended TRX training & cardio intervals; various equipment used for strength, balance and flexibility

Zumba  – Upbeat world rhythms with easy to follow steps for a total body workout that feels like a celebration.

Zumba Gold – Enjoy the same fun dance party with less intensity leaving you fresh and invigorated.

Zumba  Toning – Maraca-style weights with high energy cardio dance rhythms for the ultimate fitness party.
