HealthQuest Physical Therapy is looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our team. The Accounting Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all invoices are processed for timely payment across multiple locations. The Accounting Specialist is also responsible for confirming that invoices have been approved, classifying invoices to the proper general ledger account and entity, maintaining pristine documentation, and investigating discrepancies.

Duties

· Coding & entering invoices through Sage Intacct for our 35+ entities

· Speaking with vendors and suppliers to ensure charges are accurate and payments are received promptly

· Communicating with owners/directors for invoice approval (when applicable)

· Processing payments via check or ACH

· Reconciling credit card and bank statements

· Scanning & organizing AP documents and other financial records

· Maintaining accurate and complete records including ledgers, invoices, and receipts

· Preparing and adjusting journal entries as necessary

· Assisting Senior Accounting Specialist & Finance Director with reporting and special projects as well as with daily, monthly and annual activities

Qualifications

· No experience required, but 1-3 years of previous accounting experience preferred

· High school diploma or GED required

· Associates degree preferred

· Sage Intacct experience preferred

· Proficiency with MS Office Suite required

· Ability to multitask

· Exceptional time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
