ABOUT US

We’ve been in the Richmond community since 2017 (previously located on Stoecker  Lane). Our new location, as of November 2019, is in “downtown Richmond”. This new location is conveniently located on Main Street, across from the Tractor Supply and next door to Tim Hortons. We are just around the corner from Richmond High School and the entrance to the Macomb Orchard Trail. HealthQuest Physical Therapy Richmond is minutes away from Ray Township, Armada, Memphis, Columbus.  We are a physical therapy facility that specializes in providing a full continuum of care and training. Our patients are ages eight to eighty, healthy and injured, non-athletes and professional athletes. We deliver comprehensive services to the latest techniques in physical therapy following injury or surgery.

Common Injuries We Treat

When you say the words “physical therapy” most people automatically assume you have had surgery. Yet physical therapy goes beyond post-surgical care restoring strength, endurance, flexibility and stability to people who have been injured, are in pain, or have experienced an illness. Through therapeutic exercise, it is possible to have your function restored and live a life that is pain-free.

We also can help you if you’re suffering from pain!

No level of pain is “normal”

What you can expect as a patient

Steps in your treatment

STEP 1: DISCOVERY

You’ll undergo a physical exam and evaluation, including a health history and certain testing procedures, including evaluation of posture, movement and flexibility, and of your muscle and joint motion and performance

STEP 2: DEVELOPMENT

Based on your evaluation findings, your thereapist will know your clinical diagnosis and prognosis, and develope a plan of care and short and long term goals to share with you and your physician.

STEP 3: PROGRESS!

Every visit you’ll receive physical therapy treatment and intervention(s) based on the therapist’s evaluation and diagnosis. Along with your therapist time, you’ll be working with our exercise technicans to complete your personalized set of exercises and stretches.

STEPS 4: PAIN-FREE

After you’re out of pain and able to achieve your physical goals, you’ll receive a self-management routine with recommendations and a home exercise program to ensure you continue to progress and so your symptoms do not return.

After illness, injury or surgery, it’s important to regain strength and independence – so you can get back to work, play and the little things you do every day.  While the overall focus of our practice is general orthopedic physical therapy, HealthQuest’s professional staff has advanced manual therapy skills, and extensive training and experience treating patients “across the lifespan” with a wide variety of sports and work-related injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation needs, and chronic conditions. Our team includes registered physical therapists with advanced degrees and certificates with expertise in orthopedics, sports medicine, workplace injuries, and fitness and health.
