Biography:
I was introduced to physical therapy after I injured my back playing soccer. I was intrigued by the combination of exercise and medicine. During my senior year in undergrad I did an internship at Ingham Hospital and was placed with a physical therapist. That is where my passion for the field was confirmed. I graduated from Wayne State University with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy and was awarded the Best Clinician Award for the success in my various clinicals.  After graduation I worked in pediatrics at Euro-Peds National Center for Intensive Physical Therapy. While there I treated children with cerebral palsy and various neuromuscular disorders. I also traveled throughout the United States as a speaker providing education for parents and other service providers about the advantages of intensive pediatric physical therapy. I loved my experience at Euro-Peds and continue to use the skills I learned there to treat children of all abilities. As a former athlete I understand the dedication it takes to return to the game after an injury. I hope to use all my experience to help young athletes return to their sport and stay healthy. I am thankful for the opportunities I have at HealthQuest and look forward to helping my patients achieve their goals.
