Biography:
I was first exposed to physical therapy when I was in high school, when a family member suffered a stroke.  After seeing the care that he had received from the health care team, I knew that someday I wanted to pursue a career in the healthcare field. Physical therapy was the perfect fit for me; matching my educational interests (I had always wanted to pursue a higher-level degree), my lifestyle of being active and my passion for helping others.

I chose to attend Oakland University because of the strong emphasis on manual orthopedic techniques and on graduating well-rounded clinicians, ready to work in any area of physical therapy practice.  At Oakland, I received the Academic Excellence Award from the faculty at graduation.

I strive to continue learning, to be the best clinician I can be, and to continue to treat each of my clients with compassion.  I have a heart for helping others, and I feel blessed to be able to work as a physical therapist to help restore function and improve quality of life.
