Biography:

I became interested in physical therapy while my grandfather was living with my family and receiving home therapy services. Though I was currently pursuing a degree in marketing, I immediately decided to switch fields after seeing the positive impact that the therapist had on my grandfather’s overall well-being and health.

Sports, particularly equestrian, have always been a passion of mine and I determined that my interests were in outpatient orthopedics. In 2010 I landed a technician position at a physical therapy facility where I started to grow my clinical skills and familiarize myself with the world of outpatient orthopedics. In the summer of 2014 I left that facility and joined the HealthQuest team in Clinton Township. I was excited to become a part of such a highly respected name in the physical therapy industry and I appreciated their total comprehensive approach to treatment, which can be lacking in the industry.

In 2013 I was accepted into the exceptional physical therapist assistant program at Macomb Community College. I completed my final clinical internship with the team at the Macomb HealthQuest facility, where I was exposed to a wide variety of cases and innovative rehabilitation techniques. During this rotation my appreciation grew for the unparalleled HealthQuest approach to meeting and surpassing clientele needs and expectations. In the summer of 2015 I graduated from the PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant) program, Summa Cum Laude, and was fortunate to have the opportunity to remain with the HealthQuest team in Clinton Township. I am thrilled to begin using the clinical skills I have acquired to help make a positive impact in my community, and to continue my professional development alongside some of the most respected clinicians in the industry.
