Shelby Township, Travel Therapists
I became interested in Physical Therapy when I was in junior high school. I began volunteering as a “candy striper” at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester, MI to become more familiar with the profession. I attended Grand Valley State University for Pre-Physical Therapy, and then transferred to Wayne State University for their Physical Therapy program. Upon graduation from Wayne State, I began working as a Staff Physical Therapist at Crittenton Hospital where I worked until joining the HealthQuest team in 2003.
I now have many years of clinical experience, and I’ve attended numerous continuing education conferences, and strive to continually expand my knowledge base. I especially appreciate the value that HealthQuest places on education, so that I can better serve my patients and community. I enjoy working with people of all ages to improve their quality of life and return to their “sport”, whether it is soccer, playing with their children, working on a computer all day or making a bed. My career in Physical Therapy has given me the opportunity to touch many people’s lives over the years with high quality care and “helping people help themselves”. I feel that my life has been touched as well by the many examples of courage, commitment, and dedication that my patients have shared with me.
