Biography:
After undergoing right knee ACL reconstruction surgery during my high school years, I became a Physical Therapy patient, where I quickly decided that this could be a fantastic career for me.  As I entered college, I held onto the memory of PT and pursued classes that coincided with this profession.  I played soccer all 4 years at Hope College and a few of my teammates were also interested in PT.  Much like teamwork on the field, we collectively supported each other academically and we each graduated from Hope College with desires to attend graduate school to become PTs.

I then attended PT school in North Chicago and I was president of my class.  After graduating, I moved back home to the Metro Detroit area, working for The Children’s Hospital of Michigan as a pediatrics PT, eventually finding my way to HealthQuest.

The thing I appreciate most about HealthQuest is the “team-like” atmosphere that reminds me of my days playing college soccer.  I thrive in this type of environment.  One of the many benefits of working as part of the HealthQuest team is the encouragement from all of the therapists allowing each of us to grow into better and more skilled clinicians.

Other than being a PT, i’m also a wife and a mother.  I live locally with my husband, Bob and our 2 sons, Bobby and Johnny.
