Biography:
I first encountered physical therapy after a serious soccer injury at the age of 16, and then again after basketball injuries in both my junior and senior years of high school. The treatment that I received enabled me to return to what I loved, playing sports. These first hand experiences showed me the positive impact PT can have on a person’s life. With the help of my physical therapists I was able to return to sports more confident than ever.

After high school I attended Michigan State University. It was there that I studied kinesiology, further solidifying my interest in the human body and getting it to perform at its peak level. From there I knew that becoming a physical therapist was the right career choice for me and I chose to attend Wayne State University’s DPT program.

Growing up in Oxford, MI I had always known of HealthQuest, but never had any personal experiences with the company. It was when Robb Aikens, HealthQuest COO, was a member on a panel discussion at Wayne State University that I learned more about the company. Hearing about their approach to patient centered care and role within the community made me realize this was the right fit for my PT career. It is here that I look forward to helping patients improve their overall health and expanding my knowledge.
