Biography
Ever since my first injury and experience with physical therapy, I knew that I wanted to go into this field.  I was a competitive swimmer for sixteen years and unfortunately I was injured several times.  While at therapy, I was able to see the impact the therapists had on patient’s lives which I found to be very rewarding.  I also found the variation of patient diagnoses from day-to day to be appealing.  From being a compassionate and empathetic person, to my interest in the human body and how it functions, I knew that the field of physical therapy would be the perfect career choice for me.

I was a tech at HealthQuest Lake Orion for three years and I have now continued my journey with HealthQuest by hiring on as a full time PTA.  The staff at Lake Orion is great and I enjoy the fun atmosphere that the clinic has.  I look forward to furthering my career and knowledge base with the HealthQuest Lake Orion team as a PTA.

I have two supportive parents who have encouraged me and have been there for me since day one of my journey to become a PTA.  I have an older sister who lives in Texas and a younger sister who is a student athlete at Wayne State University.  In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors as much as possible.  If I was able to, I would spend all my free time up in the Upper Peninsula with my boyfriend and his two adorable dogs.
