Biography:
I have always been fascinated with the human body and how it works to adapt to health issues that arise in our daily lives.  I find it intriguing how our body compensates to rectify an injury or impairment and how we need to retrain our body’s biomechanics following an injury.

Out of the many family members and friends of mine who experienced physical therapy, the common factor voiced between them all was the impact their physical therapist had on their recovery.  I found that to be very inspiring and decided to pursue a career in physical therapy to positively impact patients to return to a healthy and manageable lifestyle.

At Oakland University I developed strong manual orthopedic techniques and was introduced to multiple physical therapy settings allowing me to become a well-rounded physical therapist.  I was fortunate to complete one of my clinical internships at HealthQuest and loved my experience.  Their treatment style, manual based approach, passion to help others and friendly atmosphere allowed me to grow and strive to be an excellent physical therapist.

I love that I am able to apply my clinical skills in a creative way while also being challenged to expand my knowledge base.  With every treatment session I am able to grow and learn from my patients and I treat every individual patient with the highest level of care.

I am the second oldest of six kids and am always involved in family activities.  I am an avid MSU sports fan and bleed green.  Attending both MSU and Detroit sporting events is a favorite, especially during football season.  I also enjoy reading, watching movies, travelling, and going Up North as much as I can.
