Katie Thomas
PT, DPT
Lake Orion
I realized I wanted to be a physical therapist after I shadowed a family friend who was a PT in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, which is where I grew up. I loved that she was able to spend quality time with each patient, and tailor treatments individually to help them meet their goals. I want to help people get back to doing the things they love doing, which is the main reason I became a PT- my little way of making a difference and helping people.
Since graduating, I have gained experience working with a wide range of diagnoses in pediatrics, as well as working with adults with spinal cord injury and other orthopedic diagnoses. I look forward to joining the fantastic team at HealthQuest and continuing to grow as a therapist.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors biking, gardening and camping, traveling with my husband, and visiting my family in the Upper Peninsula.
