Shelby Township, Travel Therapists
I became interested in Physical Therapy in high school when working part time over the summer as a Physical Therapy Aide. After high school I attended and graduated from the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Macomb Community College. After completing the 2 year program, I knew I wanted to continue my studies to become a Physical Therapist. After graduating from Wayne State University, I worked as a staff Physical Therapist at a Crittenton Hospital Outpatient Orthopedic and Sports Medicine facility. I was employed at Crittenton for 18 years and eventually held a position as a Sports Medicine Coordinator for 5 yrs. I have been working since 2004 at HealthQuest Physical Therapy and Wellness in Shelby Township.
Over the years I have attended many continuing education seminars with an emphasis on orthopedics and sports medicine. I have also had extensive training in McKenzie and Strategic Orthopedics which I find successful when treating cervical and lumbar pathologies. I enjoy being able to provide a high quality of care in order to help people achieve their goals and reach their optimal function level.
