As a former pitcher, Andrew became interested in the field of physical therapy after suffering an elbow injury while playing baseball. He immediately experienced the impact of rehabilitation and exercise after returning to throwing without pain. That experience, coupled with the ability to positively impact people in pain and help them return to activities that they enjoy, led Andrew to pursue a doctorate in physical therapy.
Andrew’s special interests include treating youth athletic injuries, injuries in overhead athletes, postpartum rehabilitation, and post-surgical rehabilitation. He believes in a comprehensive and individualized approach, incorporating manual therapy techniques and exercise in order to optimize movement and performance.
In his free time outside of the clinic he enjoys being outdoors, hiking, staying up to date with the latest physical therapy and fitness research, cheering on Spartan football and basketball, and keeping up with his own personal fitness goals. Andrew’s family literally lives across the USA. His parents reside in Virginia, his brother in Maryland, and a sister in Washington.
