My passion for PT began while I was a student at Clarkston High School when I was given the opportunity to shadow at a physical therapy clinic. I really enjoyed that experience and I have always had a love for anatomy, kinesiology and medicine. After graduating from Clarkston High School in 2011, I spent four years at Grand Valley State University and then moved back to Clarkston while attending physical therapy school at the University of Michigan-Flint. During this time I was given the opportunity to work at HealthQuest-Clarkston as a PT tech which really helped me grow as a future clinician. As a student I was able to complete and internship at HealthQuest-Lake Orion where I got to see more of the HealthQuest model and approach from a therapist perspective. HealthQuest has created an environment where patient centered care and going above and beyond to get the best results for every patient are of the most importance. I really value that environment and the mentorship I have received in my time with the company as a tech and student. After graduating from PT school I was given the opportunity to come on staff as a therapist at Clarkston where I am looking forward to continuing my journey with HealthQuest!
While finishing PT school I married my beautiful wife, Claire and we have since rescued german shorthair named Luna. In our free time we love being outdoors, fishing, hiking, biking and going on walks with Luna. My wife and I volunteer at an equestrian therapeutic riding center and enjoy attending community events whenever we can. I love being able to help patients strive towards their personal goals and I’m very thankful I am able to do that alongside my HealthQuest family.
