Starting at Macomb Community College I wanted to focus my studies on the field of health and wellness because staying physically active has always been important to me. During my Anatomy and Physiology class, I learned about Physical Therapist Assistants at MCC and thought it would be a great way to begin my career in the field of Physical Therapy; I applied to the PTA program and was accepted that very same semester.
My experience during Macomb’s PTA program fostered a desire to continue my education, so I chose to finish my undergrad studies at Oakland University where I completed my Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences. I intend on applying to the University of Findlay Ohio’s PTA to DPT weekend bridge program to further my career and commit to being a lifelong learner.
While I began working in skilled nursing upon graduating, it has always been my intention to work in an outpatient orthopedic clinic, so I am very grateful to be accepted as a part of the HealthQuest team and looking forward to growing and learning here.
