Biography:
I first became interested in physical therapy when I was a junior in high school and suffered a hip flexor strain/tear while playing hockey. I went through a bout of physical therapy which not only helped to relieve my hip pain but also made me a stronger skater when I returned to playing. When I went away to Adrian College in 2013 to play ACHA Division 1 hockey, I began my academic career as an athletic training major. Halfway through my undergrad experience, I had a sudden change of heart and realized that athletic training was not the right fit for me. After doing some observation hours with a physical therapist at a local outpatient clinic, I quickly recognized just how powerful physical therapy was in the fact that it could help patients maximize their physical potential and live their best lives.
After graduating from Adrian College in 2017, I entered into Oakland University’s DPT graduate program to pursue my doctorate degree in physical therapy. While at Oakland, I immediately acquired an interest in orthopedics and manual therapy which ultimately led me to HealthQuest.
Currently, my fiancée, Erica, and I reside in Lake Orion with our mini dachshund, Annabelle. We enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, watching movies, and exploring local breweries and distilleries.
