Biography:
Athletics, particularly running and basketball, have long been a part of my life. I was first introduced to physical therapy in high school after sustaining an ankle injury during a basketball game. I became quite interested in the field and knew I wanted to pursue it as a career. During college, I again went through physical therapy, this time for a running injury. I really enjoyed getting to know my therapist, and felt valued and listened to as a patient when my therapist catered a specific rehab program to get me back to running.
I love helping patients improve and return to functional independence, whether that be returning to a sporting event, being able to walk around the neighborhood, recovering from surgery, or getting on and off the floor playing with grandchildren.
I have been married to my husband, Joel, since 2007. Together we have 4 wonderful children. We enjoy being together as a family and love fishing, camping, hunting, boating, skiing, and anything that involves being outside in God’s beautiful creation.
