I took the non-traditional route into physical therapy. I graduated from CMU in 1991 with a BBA in accounting. For two years I worked in public accounting. I spent 8 to 10 hours a day crammed into a 4 X 4 cubicle. One day, I decided that I wasn't going to spend my whole professional career at a sedentary job. During college and my high school years, I was a cross-country and track runner.
My first experience with physical therapy was back in 2001 when I was hired as a PT tech for a company in Chicago. In 2006, I was hired at HealthQuest - Rochester Hills as a technician. One year later, I joined Steve Rabaut at the Clawson facility and now I'm the Director of the Pleasant Ridge facility.
