I have always been interested in Physical therapy prior to beginning my college education. Unlike many, I never had been through a therapy process and had to deal with many injuries. I had googled the top ten happiest jobs for people and prioritized my career choice off that. Having an athletic background, I found it fascinating that using human movement and biomechanics can optimize one’s healing and give self-managing strategies to alleviate pain. Following a couple years of college football at Wayne State University I attained my bachelor’s in Kinesiology in 2020. I went an unorthodox route and went out of my comfort zone to complete my PT education in Ireland at the University of Limerick in 2022. In the interim, I have worked at Healthquest Oxford as a tech starting June 2022 while taking additional professional classes, I knew that Healthquest was a great fit for my professional goals, and I love where I work. It is super satisfying to now transition into the role of therapist. My passions include Mixed Martial Arts, playing music, and the outdoors by way of hunting and fishing.
