Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in an office setting preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome clinic guests using a warm, friendly demeanor.
  • Answer the phones using a standard greeting and a professional demeanor.
  • Daily collection of patient payments.
  • Check patients out after each visit and ensure additional visits are scheduled.
  • Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorization for treatment for all new patients.
  • Prepare new patient charts and confirm new patient appointments for the following day.
  • Closure of each new patient after completion of the initial visit.
  • Process incoming/outbound fax transmission of electronic medical records.
  • Prepare active patient reports and monitor discharges.
  • Complete the End of Day paperwork and monitor payment collection reports.
  • Maintain a clean workstation and waiting area.
