Qualifications:
- Degree in PTA
- Licensed PTA
- APTA Membership – provided by HealthQuest
- The physical demands required of this position involve extensive standing, walking, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:
- Provides skillful patient treatment in accordance with HealthQuest philosophy of care.
- Completes progress notes and care plan notes in the established format and in compliance with HealthQuest quality assurance standards.
- Provides leadership, guidance, and supervision to Exercise Specialists who assist with patient activities, ensure patient safety, proper use of equipment, and proper performance of exercise through careful instruction and correction.
- Participates in the peer review audit process.
- Creates a Home Exercise Program for each patient.
- Engages in internal marketing strategies to attract new patients.
- Maintains good relationships with referring physicians, and proactively handles misunderstandings as they arise.
- Communicates effectively with both patient and coverage therapist in preparation for scheduled time off.
- Maintains commitment to continuous professional development and is actively engaged in the Professional Development Program and/or ongoing clinical education endeavors.
