I began my work in the healthcare field as a caregiver at an assisted living home. During my time as a caregiver, I found a passion for helping those in need which assisted in my decision to pursue physical therapy. After leaving the assisted living home, I joined the HealthQuest family as a physical therapy technician at the Macomb location (21 mile Rd.). As a technician from 2016-2023, I was able to refine my exercise skills while simultaneously falling in love with the profession of physical therapy. Having my own low back surgery in 2021 and subsequent physical therapy enabled me to experience physical therapy from the patient perspective; which I now use to provide optimal care to my patients. I have developed a strong passion for working with the orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric populations since graduating from Oakland University in 2023. Additionally, I wish to pursue canine rehabilitation in the future along with working with people.
