I initially became interested in physical therapy after shadowing my best friend’s dad at his clinic during the summer of 2015 and seeing the work we can do as physical therapists to help people move and feel better. My interests were solidified after going through physical therapy many times myself, as a patient, from basketball-related injuries while playing for Oakland University’s Golden Grizzlies from 2017-2021. I grew up in Mason, Michigan and have lived in the metro-Detroit area since undergrad, and most recently moved to Royal Oak with my husband, Lucas, after getting married in August, 2024. I am passionate about all things sports, health, and wellness and enjoy working out, reading, and spending time with friends and family. My most recent sports endeavor was running my first (and last) marathon, the 2023 Detroit Free Press. I am looking forward to learning and growing with the HealthQuest Team!
