I first became interested in the field of Physical Therapy when I was in High School as a patient, in which I was recovering from a baseball injury that required corrective surgery. I was lucky enough to have been referred to Ed Martel, who, at the time, was a Physical Therapist with HealthQuest and the founder of the Overhead Athletic Institute. After experiencing all that PT had to offer and returning to baseball at 100%, I was convinced that it was something I could see myself doing as a profession, allowing my future patients to have the same outcomes that I did when working with Ed.
