I was first exposed to the field of physical therapy while I was in high school. I was on the varsity soccer team, and I had a teammate whose father was a physical therapist. He would often come to our games and practices, leading us in our warm-ups and stretches and being the first one on the field when someone was injured. I quickly became interested in the profession, and I was given the opportunity to job shadow this therapist in order to confirm that physical therapy was the right career for me. After high school, I attended Oakland University and received my Bachelor’s degree in 2020. I then continued my studies at OU, receiving my Doctorate in 2023. During this time, I completed a clinical rotation at one of HealthQuest’s locations, and I was drawn to the welcoming environment, strong work ethic, and diverse patient population that I saw there. For this reason, upon my graduation, I pursued a career with HealthQuest beginning in 2024.
