Jack Berkey
PT, DPT
West Bloomfield
It was not until my sophomore year of undergraduate school that I knew physical therapy would be the career for me. Initially, I believed my path was to medical school to become an Orthopedic Surgeon eventually. However, I realized I loved being able to spend additional time to help people reach specific goals for an activity within their life. The ability to build a strong patient-therapist relationship was a driving force in my decision to become a physical therapist. I began working with HealthQuest in 2018 as a technician at the West Bloomfield location for two summers during undergrad and one year full-time in 2020-2021 before beginning PT school. I learned so much during my time working as a technician that it deepened my passion for the field of physical therapy, which I carry with me today. In my free time, I enjoy playing different pickup sports such as golf, softball, and basketball, attending sporting events, and spending time with family.
