Jasmine Root
PTA
Mt. Clemens
I was raised in a small town in southeast Michigan, where just over 800 people called it home. Growing up in a place where everyone knew each other gave me the sense of community that continues to guide me today.
As a former farmer and ambitious athlete, I was introduced to physical therapy at a young age. During those early experiences under the nurturing guidance of a rehabilitation specialist, I learned how powerful physical therapy can be in helping people return to the activities they love. That is what sparked my desire to be part of that same healing process for others.
I began pursuing a career in physical therapy in 2022, eventually graduating from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Washtenaw Community College in 2025.
My goal as a PTA is to deliver effective, research-driven treatment while also offering support and encouragement every step of the way. I see quality care as being a teammate who walks alongside each patient on their journey back to good health.
Outside of work, I continue to share my passion for health and wellness through my personal training and coaching business, where I help people of all ages pursue their goals. When I’m not coaching others, you’ll often find me training for my own athletic pursuits, reading, playing guitar, traveling, or spending time with family and friends.
