MA, AT, ATC, CSCS
Oxford
I grew up in the small town of Algonac as a three-sport varsity athlete with a love of all things outside, especially spending time on Lake St. Clair with my family. I became interested in the field from my own ATC in high school. Once I set my sights on this career at 15, I’ve driven forward and never looked back. I love everything sports and that no two days as an ATC are the same. My ‘office’ is a field, court, turf, rink and the atmosphere of athletics is contagious. Being a part of an athlete’s story through hardship and triumph is incredibly fulfilling. I’ve worked with every level of athlete from the NFL and NBA to high school. Some of my favorite achievements include being invited as a host ATC for two NCAA Gymnastics National Championships and two NCAA Wrestling National Championships. I’ve also won two MAC Championship titles with CMU Gymnastics in 2013 and 2014. I joined Healthquest for the first time as an outreach ATC in 2015. In 2022, I was named the company’s first-ever Sports Medicine Coordinator and worked full-time at Oxford High School. I am passionate not only about my athletes but also about advancing the field of athletic training by bringing awareness of the skills of ATCs to the public. Athletic Trainers are healthcare professionals trained in a variety of skills to work with athletes and the general population alike. Every school should have access to an ATC, and I do my part to advance the field and help schools gain access to our services. I’ve lived in Romeo with my partner Adam since 2020 with our cat, Chip. We spend a lot of our time working on our historical home and in our home barn turned gym. lrandazzo@35.173.16.116
