Test your hip mobility

The hips are the central point between the trunk and the lower body. As the largest ball and socket joint in the body, they have a BIG job to do. Their strength supports the trunk (your spine) and the joints of your lower leg (knees and ankles). Their wide range of motion is required to complete many of our daily functional tasks – like tying your shoes or picking up items from the floor. It’s important to keep them loose and mobile. When we talk about tight hips, the most common form of tightness is in the hip flexor or the front of the hip.
