I first became interested in becoming a physical therapist following multiple potentially career ending injuries as a collegiate athlete. I was luckily referred to my future mentor Ed Martel, MPT, OMPT. At the time, Ed was a physical therapist and owner of HealthQuest and the founder of the Overhead Athletic Institute. Despite being told I would never make it back to the field again due to my injuries I was able to get back to 100% with hard work and Ed’s skill and guidance. This was when I decided to become a physical therapist. My mission is to prevent the injuries that end athletes’ careers and assist those who are injured in getting back to doing what they want to do at the highest level possible. I have had the opportunity to learn from and work alongside extremely knowledgeable and high-quality clinicians. I am thankful for those opportunities and the opportunity to influence and impact the lives of so many as a rehabilitation professional. In addition to my good fortune as a professional, I am extremely fortunate to have a beautiful wife and loving family who have supported me on this journey and guided me along the way.
