For as long as I can remember, being active has always been a big part of my life. When I started college, I found myself becoming more interested in physical fitness and learning how different exercises can target specific muscles of the body. Working out quickly became a hobby of mine and something I knew I wanted to continue throughout my life.

Not long after, I decided to take a PTA career course at MCC. I enjoyed learning about physical therapy and seeing how rehabilitation and recovery can make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. After completing the course, I knew this was the right field for me, and I applied to the PTA program in 2021.

I began working at HealthQuest as a physical therapy technician because I knew I wanted to start building my career in the field. I was fortunate to gain four years of experience as a tech and complete my final clinical rotation at HealthQuest Macomb West. I feel very blessed to still be a part of the HealthQuest team, now as a PTA, where I can continue growing as a clinician and helping others reach their goals.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active by going to the gym and taking Pilates classes. I also love spending my free time with my family, friends, and boyfriend. Staying active and connected to the people I love are two things that continue to bring a lot of joy to my life.
