I became interested in Physical Therapy during my senior year of high school after injuring my shoulder at a swim meet. A Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) treated me, and I was amazed at how quickly I felt better. This sparked my curiosity about rehabilitation and led me to pursue the PTA program at MCC. Throughout my education, I gained valuable experience working with patients in various clinical settings, including those with neurological conditions like strokes and Parkinson’s disease. I developed skills in patient care, exercise instruction, and therapeutic techniques, and learned the importance of collaboration in rehabilitation. Outside of work, I have a Golden Doodle named Zara, who keeps me active and always brings a sense of fun and joy to my day.
