I started at HealthQuest in Lapeer in August 2021, just before my senior year of high school. Prior to this, I had dealt with injuries from running, and physical therapy helped me understand the importance of strength training and body mechanics when running and that you can always be more efficient. I worked there until the fall/winter of 2025 when the PTA program became more demanding. While working at HealthQuest, I fell in love with working with Parkinson’s patients, and the PTA program that I attended gave us the opportunity to become LSVT BIG certified. Through school and working at the clinic, I believe that no matter how old your patient is, physical therapy can change their life by helping them move more confidently, with less pain, and with a better understanding of their body.
