Jessica Cook
PTA, OTR/L
Pontiac/Bloomfield
I grew up in Germany and have been here since 2004. I became interested in the PT profession shortly after moving to the States. I am a dual-background clinician with experience in patient rehabilitation, starting my career as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2009 and expanding into Occupational Therapy in 2022. My clinical foundation is rooted in outpatient orthopedics, where I enjoy treating a wide range of conditions and helping patients regain independence and mobility.
My educational journey began at Macomb Community College, where I earned my PTA degree, and continued at Baker College, where I completed my OT studies. My ultimate professional goal is to become a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) so I can deliver specialized care to patients recovering from complex upper-extremity injuries.
When I’m not working with patients or studying hand therapy protocols, you can find me recharging by reading a good book, exercising, or enjoying quality time with my family. I have 2 children, ages 12 and 14, and 2 bonus children, ages 11 and 13. I also love traveling, cooking and line dancing.
