Carter Kovalcik
PT, DPT
Macomb Township (Hall)

My journey with HealthQuest Physical Therapy began long before I became a physical therapist. At age 10, I became a patient after developing Little League elbow from baseball. The therapists who helped me recover did more than get me back on the field—they inspired a lasting passion for movement, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.

That experience shaped my path. I studied human development and movement while pursuing baseball at the highest level, ultimately completing a Division I baseball career in North Carolina without missing time due to injury. It reinforced my belief in the power of quality rehabilitation, proper biomechanics, and proactive care.

More than 20 years after first walking through HealthQuest’s doors as a patient, I now have the privilege of serving the same community as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. As lead clinician at our Washington Township location, my goal is to provide the same care, education, and encouragement that inspired me as a child—helping patients recover, move with confidence, and achieve the goals that matter most to them.
