PT, DPT

The field of physical therapy first grabbed my attention when I injured my wrist in high school and had to go through extensive physical therapy rehab. Not only did I make a full recovery from the injury, but I also began to develop a strong interest in the field as a future career for myself. While completing my undergraduate degree at Oakland University, I had the opportunity to shadow several physical therapists in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. I absolutely loved the aspect of using therapeutic exercises to help individuals improve their function and quality of life. I was intrigued that we could utilize a multitude of interventions to treat patients with an array of diagnoses, anything from a minor sprained ankle to a severe stroke. After obtaining my DPT degree from Oakland University, I realized that treating in the outpatient and sports medicine setting is my current passion! Outside of the clinic, I enjoy weightlifting, playing basketball, watching the NBA, playing video games, and being outside in nature.
