I was first introduced to Physical Therapy while I was in college. I was active in intramural clubs and participated in several sports, including volleyball and martial arts. Like many athletes, I experienced sports injuries that hindered my performance and decided to consult a Physical Therapist. The initial visit kickstarted my interest in the profession as I quickly became impressed with the therapist’s expertise in biomechanics, anatomy, and manual therapy skills. This led me to pursue a career in Physical Therapy, ultimately receiving my Doctorate from Oakland University in 2023. I believe that Physical Therapists can make a profound impact on people’s lives by giving them the tools for success and empowering them to take charge of their health. In my free time, I enjoy cooking/grilling, volleyball, weight lifting, and teaching music.
