As a three-sport athlete in high school, I have always carried a passion for exercise and its many complexities. I was first introduced to the complex nature of the human body when multiple injuries hindered me from playing the sports I loved. However, it was through these experiences that I became familiar with the physical therapy field over the duration of my recovery. It was the compassionate care that I received from a team of physical therapists in my hometown of Mt. Pleasant, MI that ultimately got me hooked on the idea of pursuing a career in this field.
While in PT school at Wayne State University, I had the opportunity to be mentored by a professor that also was part of the HealthQuest family. With the example that she set for her students and level of respect that she had for her colleagues at HealthQuest, I knew that this was the place for me. I am honored to be a part of a family of such skilled and patient centered therapists.
Growing up in a close-knit family of five, family and teamwork are two ideals that I am very passionate about. This is something that I bring into my treatment approach as a therapist. I aim to work with my clients as if I was treating a member of my family. My goal is to work as a team to allow the best outcome for every patient.
