After 12 years as a Medical Assistant, I knew I wanted to keep growing in healthcare and make a greater difference in patients’ lives. I was drawn to physical therapy because it helps people regain independence, build confidence and return to the activities they enjoy. My interest in physical therapy was also shaped by my family. Several family members have undergone joint replacements, giving me a true appreciation for the role physical therapy plays in recovery. I have also personally experienced the benefits of physical therapy as an avid runner and run coach who has trained for multiple marathons and understands how important it is to have a supportive team to help you reach your goals. I am passionate about building relationships with my patients and helping them feel confident through their rehabilitation. My goal is to help patients become stronger, more independent, and able to return to the activities they enjoy and the lifestyle that is important to them. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy running, gardening, camping, and visiting Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula. I also enjoy spending time with my husband, children, and family.
