For as long as I can remember, I wanted to pursue a career in healthcare.  I have also been involved in sports since a young age and wanted to find a career path that could also integrate athletics.  In high school, I came to the conclusion that physical therapy would be the perfect fit for me as I would be able to help many people, including athletes, recover from debilitating injuries.

I decided to attend Central Michigan University where I earned a Bachelors degree in Health Fitness and began doing observation hours in physical therapy clinics to meet the requirements for Graduate school.  This allowed me to see the gains patients were making through rehabilitation and confirmed that I was on the right career path.  I was accepted into the Doctorate Program at Central Michigan University and was exposed to a wide variety of injuries and conditions that could benefit from physical therapy and different ways for them to be treated.

I find physical therapy to be a very rewarding profession and I strive to work hard and learn new techniques to give my patients the best care possible.  I love working as a therapist and being able to see the impact I can have on a person’s rehabilitation and helping them return to their normal level of function.
