Connie Machnacki
PT, OCS
Lake Orion
I have always loved sports and science, so choosing physical therapy as a profession was a natural fit. I graduated from Wayne State University in 1985, with a strong interest in orthopedics.
As a new graduate, I thought it was important to get a strong foundation in medicine, so I chose to work at Oakwood Hospital. After 2 years my passion for orthopedics drew me to outpatient private practice. Five years later I needed a new challenge, so I became the manager for a new outpatient and sports medicine clinic.
As my expertise and experience grew, I became board certified as an orthopedic specialist. I loved teaching and taught an athletic medicine course for the physical therapy program at Wayne State University, and a course in electrical stimulation at Macomb Community College’s physical therapist assistant program.
After moving to Lake Orion and starting a family, I decided to work closer to home. HealthQuest was a perfect match for my hands-on treatment approach. I enjoy working in the community that I live in and the quality of care I can provide at HealthQuest.
