I always knew I wanted to go to school for something dealing with the health field and I was always into fitness with regards to the overall well-being of the body. I have been a member of a local gym for many years and found interest in strengthening and learning to train and isolate certain muscle groups in order to correct form for one of the many aspects of carrying out a healthy lifestyle.

My friend actually told me about the program at MCC and how much she loved it so I decided to see what it was all about, and also job shadowed at the New Baltimore HQ location. Witnessing the positive environment that the therapist had created with the patients and seeing how much they enjoyed being there made me realize PT isn’t just about rehab of the body but it is also a mindset. Creating connections with patients and helping them return to doing the things they love is something that really made me want to pursue a career in PT.

I was first led to HealthQuest when I was placed for my very first clinical rotation for the PTA program. I was very new to the clinic setting and through the teaching of my knowledgeable clinical instructor, I was shown the importance of the effects therapy has on patients of many different diagnoses and I knew this is a company I would love to be a part of.
