I became interested in the physical therapy field while in high school. I participated in an Explorers group that helped us explore all the different roles in health care so we could narrow down which field we might want to learn more about. I always love interacting one on one with people and learning more about them. I met my husband, Mark, at Oakland University where we both attended. We were married in 1990 and started a family shortly after. We have 3 children (one married and one almost married – July 2021) and are now “empty nesters”. We are thrilled to be new grandparents. We love to spend time at our lake house up north and enjoy hiking at the local state park, kayaking, downhill skiing, I love my bible study group and studying God’s Word. You can find me reading when I find time – especially when at the beach. I’m always up for playing games or cards, especially Euchre.
