I first encountered physical therapy after a serious soccer injury at the age of 16. My treatment enabled me to return to what I loved: playing sports. This first-hand experience allowed me to see the positive impact physical therapy can have on improving a person’s function and quality of life.
During my undergraduate studies at MSU, I developed foundational knowledge in anatomy, physiology, and exercise science, reaffirming my goal of becoming a physical therapist. While in the DPT program at WSU, I started developing my clinical skills. Over the next five years, I worked as a part of the HealthQuest family at the West Bloomfield location. Being a part of this organization has allowed me to grow as a clinician and serve the community.
I enjoy working with patients of all backgrounds with all types of injuries, diagnosing movement dysfunctions, and addressing the root cause of their limitations. Whether it is improving overhead reaching/lifting, working on gait mechanics, or developing healthy exercise habits, I believe treating the patient as a whole is important. With these philosophies and skills, I aim to help as many people as possible improve their function and live healthier lives. I am glad to be able to help the Berkley community.
