Nicholas Manderachia
PT, DPT
Clawson
I was introduced to the field of PT when my father injured his ankle in 2015, and I was the one driving him to his physical therapy appointments, where I was able to observe what the job was actually about. The job stuck with me and I was with him through most of his physical therapy sessions. I’ve always been focused on helping people, as I was a reading tutor working in Detroit before finding physical therapy. I went back to school in 2016 to get credits and pursue my new goal. It was a long journey (degree received in 2023, whew!), but it was an easy shift for me to make as I really believe in the health benefits of movement. Not only do I live more actively now, but I want to help those get back to doing the things they love. Movement empowers us to have fun and do all sorts of activities, and if I can give that back to someone, I will do it with the best of my abilities as that is exactly what I have trained and studied so long to do! Some of my passions are cycling, kayaking, cooking, hiking, and noodling away on my guitar.
